Celebrating music, friendship and cultural understanding, the Tablelands Folk Festival is the longest running folk festival in Queensland.

Tablelands Folk Festival

Held in Yungaburra Heritage Village, surrounded by rainforest and crater lakes, the Festival features family entertainment over four days. Totally run by volunteers, the TFF community exudes a warm, safe and harmonious environment.

The Festival includes: Concerts, Workshops, Comedy, Blues Jams, Poet’s Brekky, Health & Wellness Fair, Market Stalls, Beer Making Competition, Songwriter’s Competition, free Children’s Festival & Parade, & the famous Pub Verandah non-stop Jam Sessions, and so much more!

There’s plenty of Camping available, and you can earn your ticket by volunteering, please view Festival Participation.

Secret Tuesdays
Secret Tuesdays bring you femme folk tales of joy and woe sung in witchy three part harmonies.

A folk/blues/alt country band from the green hills of Far North Qld, these girls combine guitars, banjo, piano and fiddle with great songwriting and interesting frocks.

With loads of original music inspired by Lhasa de Sela, Flight of the Conchords, Jolie Holland, The Audreys, Amanda Palmer and Gillian Welch, they’ll take you with them into an olde worlde of sea shanties, bar room waltzes, mixed metaphors, and high noon adventures at twenty paces
